Get It Right Or Die Trying

Life in a Different World From Zero

As the title suggests, Re: Life in a Different World From Zero is about a high school boy transported to a fantasy world, and since this is a light novel, naturally he encounters a silver-haired bishojo he must protect. But unlike other overpowered main characters, or hero's only super power is the ability to turn back time and erase everyone else's memories—of course, to activate it he needs to die first. See our man get sliced and diced in all sorts of brutal ways in the forthcoming TV anime adaptation.

AA+ Would Watch Again

Everyone's favorite Butei is back! Sort of. The upcoming anime adaptation of the manga Aria the Scarlet Ammo Double A is a spin-off that pairs the exceptional Aria with bumbling Akari Mamiya for high-octane high-jinks. See the two blow the school sky-high when the show starts in October from director Takashi Kawabata (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) and series composer Fumihiko Shimo (Air, Kanon) at Dogakobo.

Speaking of spin-offs, Fruits Basket is getting a sort-of sequel as the web manga Fruits Basket Another. The story is set after Toru graduates and follows a first-year high school student named Sawa. As to how it relates to the original, well, we'll have to wait for the September 4 premier on HanaLala Online.

Fighting Game Idol

I'd pay good money to put Paul Phoenix in a skirt and sleeveless blouse but unfortunately he's not one of the Tekken 7 characters eligible for an Idolm@ster alternative costume. Honestly, the reveal trailer for the smartphone rhythm game The Idolm@aster Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage is a more fitting way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the franchise but who can say no to cosplay?
