Attack on Your Senses

You don't need special glasses to appreciate the 3D maneuver gear in the latest trailer for the Attack on Titan live action adaption--though if you want the full 4D experience you'll have to see it in theaters. That's right, the film gives audience members an extra D with moving seats, wind effects and "odors" synced with the action on screen. Be there when it opens on August 1 to see if the film smells like roses or if it's just another stinker.

Smells Like Victory

Stay miraculously fresh on and off the court with Bandai's new line of Kuroko's Basketball deodorant. If you plan to walk around in a jersey with your armpits exposed, it's more than an issue of hygiene--it's common courtesy.

No Such Thing as Too Much Poi

Pre-orders for a veritable fleet of Kancolle figures launched today, including KitakamiShimakazeTenryu an Tatsuta, but my ironclad heart has a weak spot for girls with pinkish hair. Yudachi Kai Ni improves on the original in every way. Is it wrong that I care more about her dyed tips than her increased firepower?

Nippon Ichi Software, the game studio behind wacky strategy RPGS like Disgaea, goes completely off the rails in the trailer for their new and as yet unnamed title. Don't blink or you'll miss the creepy details, like the thing in the woods around the 37 second mark. And the climax! Who would have thought a moe line like "Big brother, let's go home" could be so disturbing.

Dance Machine

Japan promotes the film Terminator: Genesis the only way it knows how--with a dancing schoolgirl! See Manako, Niconico superstar and member of dance unit Q'ulle, get busy between the concrete towers of the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel, Saitama's tourist-friendly flood management facility. The set is as futuristic as the EDM re-re-re-remix of the movie's classic theme.

Too Cool For Old-school

When the Sega Saturn advertised itself as the "Theater of the eye," who knew they were talking about heterochromia? The colors of her irises are modeled after the controller buttons, which you can see for yourself on the Nendoroid-sized game console she comes with.
