Go on a Bear Hunt at the Yurikuma Arashi Exhibit

An invisible storm tears through the streets of Shibuya carrying the delicious smell of shampooed hair, freshly cut flowers and... honey? It could only be the Yurikuma Arashi exhibit at Animate!

I'm not sure which side of the Wall of Severance is more dangerous. Did society put up these rules to keep the bears out, or us in? When I ask the powers that be for advice I always get the same nonsense response--"Shaba-da-doo."

Lap up the rich character designs, cosplay--complete with bear paws!--and a mini-interview from series director Kunihiko Ikuhara. He says the show stands out from the crowd of similar cute-girls-doing-cute-things titles because of the bears that pose a life or death danger to the cast. They're definitely a danger to my speech patterns, gau gau.

It'll take a few more episodes for me to get my bearings but Yurikuma Arashi is a strong candidate for show of the season. Verdict: Yuri approved!
