From Seiyuu to Idol Superstar


Voice actress Masami Asano provides the gags and Hayate no Gotoku author Kenjito Hata provides the ink for the 4-koma web manga, Sore ga Seiyuu. This summer GONZO will produce the anime adaptation that takes us into recording studio to discover that what happens behind the mic is often funnier than what ends up on screen.

Miku Gets an Encore

Yesterday's Nintendo Direct was nothing short of amazing. Majora's Mask for 3DS! More Amiibos! Wii titles available for download on WiiU! But the announcement that got us most excited was the teaser for the Vocaloid rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX. The sylish music video doesn't reveal any gameplay details, but at this point, does it really need to? I know exactly what I'm getting into with the May 28th release.

The most polemic anime of the season is getting a PS Vita tie-in courtesy of Bandai Namco Games with Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon TR. (Based on how the show sets people off, I assume "TR" stands for "Trigger." Take control of Naomi, our new pink-haired protagonist, and blow those dasterdly dragons out of the sky when the title hits this spring.
