---Based on our Japanese blog---

Hey there Shizu Mecha here. With its wildly unique plot, Drifters is a fantasy's fantasy. I'm a big fan myself and especially love its take on Joan of Arc. Needless to say I was blown away when two of the main characters were announced for release at the same time!

Drifters - Toyohisa Shimazu Complete Figure (w/Initial Production Limited Bonus: Comical Optional Head) [Union Creative International]

Straight out of the 1600s and into a brave new world, here is series star Toyohisa Shimazu and his beloved nodachi!

He stands at around 150mm tall in the grass. His burning red armor and crazed pose make him seem much bigger though!

You can feel the madness radiating from the figure just like it does off the pages of the manga! With the way he's able to smile so belligerently on the battlefield it's no wonder his comrades call him a born warrior.

Between the blood spattered nodachi, his scabbard, the rifle stored on his back and the enemy head at his feet this sculpt has as many tricks up its sleeve as Toyohisa does in battle!

You may recoginize Nobunaga's pose from his first appearance in the series, sitting calmly on a rock with his arquebus locked and loaded.

As in his life on our world, Nobunaga is a master tactician with charisma to spare. However in the manga he also has a sentimental side that leaves girls like me swooning.

This guy is surging with sinister energy and a dandy sense of fashion! Unlike the reckless Toyohisa, Nobunaga fights with his brain and battle-hardened wit. His tactics get under the enemies' skin far before he meets them in battle. Wicked. Wicked cool, that is!

These gag expressions are included as an initial production limited bonus to turn these bloodthirsty butchers' images on their heads--literally! Get them while supplies last!

Keiji Iwakura is no stranger to sculpting tough guys and his raw style is just what figures of this series needed to come to life in 3D. The last place you want to find yourself is in the path of these drifting dogs of war. Then again, they are just about cool enough to die for!

Please tell me that Nasu Suketaka Yoichi is next in line!
