Idols Go Loco

Not all idols are big names like AKB48 and Momoiro Clover Z. Most acts are minor, underground or even local. Futsuu no Joshikousei ga Rokodoru Yattemita, or Locodol for short, is a 4-panel gag manga by Koutarou Kosugi that explores the ups and downs of being a local idol rooting for your home town. Now you can be in on the joke with this summer's anime adaptation. Head over to the homepage to catch a sneak peak of the opening song and see if they have what it takes to invigorate the municipality.

Creepypasta, Japanese-style

Homebrew survival horror game Ao Oni is shambling to the big screen on July 5th. What, you mean you don't know about the RPG Maker title turned YouTube meme? In typical Resident Evil fashion, Ao Oni is all about solving nonsense environment puzzles in a creepy old mansion, except instead of zombies you're pursued by the titular monster that looks like one of the Deviant-types from Attack on Titan. Before watching the trailer, be warned--you may die from laughter.
