Z/X -Zillions of enemy X- Azumi Kagamihara by BROCCOLI

--Translated from our Japanese blog--

Following an anime and manga adaptation, original TCG Z/X -Zillions of enemy X- adds figures to their impressive media mix! Today we look at the Blue World’s Azumi Kagamihara up down and all around, something we’ve wanted to do ever since seeing her card!

This is Ginpatsuski, reporting for duty.

Without further ado, here’s BROCCOLI’s Azumi Kagamihara from Z/X -Zillions of enemy X-!

Z/X -Zillions of enemy X- Azumi Kagamihara

A victim of the mysterious illness Resource Syndrome, Azumi was saved from brink of death by the Blue World’s advanced technologies. Now she must fight the other worlds to pay off her debt.

Hidden under all that adorable I feel a hint of despair. With the unfortunate cards Azumi has been dealt I guess that’s to be expected.

Zooming in on the face, we can see that BROCCOLI did a great job bringing Takuya Fujima’s illustration to life. Those enormous pupils reveal her naive innocence. What a cutie!

If you can manage to peel your eyes away from her gaze, take a look at that busy outfit. The sculptor did an incredible job with the abundance of frills, not to mention the little rabbit on her shawl!

The figure allows us to appreciate Azumi from zillions of angles that the card didn’t give us. You know what that means…..

For the amount of fabric her coat offers very little protection from the cold…. or prying eyes. Bravo!

While we’re down here I’ve got to point out that with a little effort you can see both the Eastern and Western hemisphere of her globulus gluteus maximus at the same time! But let’s move away from the rump before I run out of words for booty.

Going even lower we arrive at the legs. This moody lighting helps show off the refined sculpt. The tendons in the back of her knees transition from the thighs to the calves so naturally that I’ll bet you didn’t even notice them at first glance. Then there is the left knee; the small bulge in her tights gives the illusion that she is really wearing them. These subtle details really bring this figure to life.

That coat is all fashion and no function! Her front is just as unguarded as the rear. Unfortunately that’s as far as I dare go today. You’ll just have to pick her up to find out what lies beneath!
