The first season of Unbreakable Machine-Doll has drawn to a close but the story still continues in the light novel, manga, and OVA episodes packed with each of the DVD/Blu-ray disks.
The Gamers flagship store in Akihabara is running a museum for the series from December 21st to January 8th so we dropped by to see what our favorite Automatons were up to.
These paper lanterns and origami cranes under a tiled awning transported me to a summer night in Japan. The show takes place in England so Shouko and the Setsugetsuka Trilogy create a nice aesthetic contrast with the rest of the cast.
Judging from the fan messages Yaya is the obvious favorite but Irori isn't far behind. Which one would you want to take into battle?
The wall were covered with stills from the anime and illustrations from the light novel. Which reminds me, Maware! Setsugetsuka is easily the best ending song of this season, if not all of 2013! It's a nice change of pace to close out an episode with an up-tempo denpa track.
Last but not least is this sneak preview of the upcoming Yaya Dollfie Dream doll. Is this the most perfect collaboration or what? Wonder if they'll release a deluxe Bandoll edition...
