News Roundup for December 11

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Release Dates Locked

Your next dose of stealth action bisected with metaphysical techno-babble is set to hit the street on March 18 in North America and March 20th in Japan and Europe. Pre-orders come with an extra side mission. PlayStation owners can experience “Deja Vu” as the boxy polygon version of Snake from his PS1 days, while Xbox consoles get to control Raiden as a super cyborg soldier from the future in “Jamais Vu.”

“Jamais Vu” teases at being connected to Kojima’s legendary cyberpunk adventure title Snatcher, so I have to go Xbox all the way on this one.

We haven't even had the first snow of winter, and already spring is in the air! Aniplex has put up a teaser site for a new figure of Homu Homu dressed in a long-sleeved kimono. If it turns out anything like their figure of Madoka in Maiko garb, it'll be well worth the wait!

Homepage For Kantai Collection Anime Launches

If you’re living outside of Japan, chances are you’re missing out on the hottest free-to-play social game phenomena since Puzzles and Dragons. Kantai Collection, or KanCore, puts you in charge of a fleet of military vessels anthropomorphized as moe girls, and with an anime adaptation slated for next year, now everyone can get in on the action!
The animation studio Diomedea has experience delivering the cuteness with titles such as Ika Musume, NouCome and Mondaiji, so I'm confident in their ability to bring my battle ready team of waifu to the screen.

Their Mangart Beams T line has created collaboration T-shirts with giants such as One Piece, Dragon Ball and Osamu Tezuka, while their newest designs are based on another hot Shonen Jump property, Kuroko’'s Basketball.

The first two shirts in the series focus on Tetsuya Kuroko. One features his face in profile with a Maji Burger motif in the background, while the other is a stylish representation of his blistering Ignite Pass. Expect the other members from the Generation of Miracles to hit the court soon!
